Colors! Gorgeous, vibrant colors. From the sky to the small boats that gently rest on the beach shore, Pantai Serdang, or Serdang Beach, is one of the many places in Eastern Belitung that visitors should drop by and check out.

 

Here visitors can enjoy a fun time under the sun with clear ocean views accompanied by the beach’s iconic display of colorful boats. It’s one of the areas where small wooden boats are parked in across the shore, it’s practically a norm to have these boats be painted to look very appealing, and here it’s used as a prop to symbolize the beach’s uniqueness. Coupled by the frequently clear and sunny weather, it’s simply a pleasure to witness a very refreshing beach scene with a nice twist. Better yet, since the placement of the area in eastern Belitung is of the more sunnier parts, so the white sand tends to shine through so vibrantly, completing the overall aesthetic of the beach. The beach is also accompanied by pine trees, which at least in my opinion adds flavour to the setting of the beach because of the contrast.

 

Clearly, this is one of the more photogenic beaches that visitors often come for the sake of taking pictures, either of the scenery or for instagram. Despite the presence of boats, the water stays blue and clear of pollution because they’re rarely ones that use a motor, so environmental concerns aren’t raised by these boats. I highly recommend visiting Serdang Beach if you’re one to look for a more exciting atmosphere as a photo op.
